I’ve recently stumbled upon a really incredible skincare line called Rodan + Fields. I’m usually pretty skeptical about skincare products, because…well, frankly I think there are too many and not many of them actually do what they claim. It’s frustrating to pay big bucks for a product that is pretty much worthless or even worse, leaves your skin more funky than it was to begin with. My friend Carrie Story has been using Rodan + Fields, so I have been seeing it pop up in my social media news feeds. Knowing Carrie and her family very well, I trust her, not to mention the proof is written all over her face! Her skin looks immaculate, it doesn’t matter if she is bare faced or wearing make-up…she looks fresh faced. I was becoming more and more intrigued with this product and finally decided to check in with Carrie about it. She sent me some really great information as well as some samples of the product. I really want to be able to share the first hand truth with all of you, as I said before I’ll be the guinea pig too see if any of this stuff actually works. The results are in, this stuff is incredible.
I really still like to stick to my usual skin care routine, which isn’t much at all. I want my skin to be radiant, but I don’t want to spend boat loads of money and time on making that happen. I’m still washing my face in the shower with my Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub and moisturizing with my Olay Regenerist Cream that I told y’all about in a previous blog. However, I have added in the Rodan + Fields products, I use them every other day to supplement my regular routine.
I start with the Rodan + Fields Enhancements, Micro-Dermabrasion Paste once in the morning when I wake up and once before bed. This paste feels a little gritty, but it’s seriously excellent…even after one time using it I could see a change in my skin. In the mornings I use the micro-dermabrasion paste and then I rinse my face, apply my Olay Regenerist Cream, and then apply my make-up after that. In the evenings I first use the Rodan + Fields Enhancements, micro-dermabrasion paste, I then follow that up with Rodan + Fields Redefine Night Renewing Serum, and Rodan + Fields Redefine Lip Renewing Serum. It’s a quick and easy routine just like I like it.
I noticed I broke out a little bit after the first few times using Rodan + Fields, however, they were good break outs…I could tell it was all the gunk that had been laying under the surface of my skin. The breakout wasn’t bad and ugly like I have experienced before from other products. It was as if my face was detoxing. It was actually a really neat process to watch after about a week I noticed all the yucky black heads and huge pores I had in my T-zone were virtually gone, anything that was left over was right at the surface and soon to be gone. The three products from Rodan + Fields that I am using really work well together. The paste pulls everything to the surface and detoxes your skin and the serums reduce fine lines and nourish your skin. I’m really impressed with this skin care line, not to mention they have way more information and products than the ones that I used. I give this skincare line two really happy thumbs up and a huge smile surrounded by beautiful glowing skin! I’m not getting any type of compensation for this blog post…so please trust me when I say this is the real deal! Not to mention I would never want to steer any of you wrong, no matter what.
