Hey y’all! It’s the freakin’ weekend!
We have been having 90 degree days here in SoCal, and it is lovely! I have been laying out for like an hour a day to get a nice glow going on without getting burnt and crunchy, Ewww! The days have been starting off at about 70 degrees…so I can be in shorts at 7am, it’s so strange to me, but so awesome! We have been having some crazy out of control wind in the mornings until around 11am and then it dies off. It’s a scary kind of wind, but for some reason I love the heck out of it!
Caiden and I went the movies to go see Rio 2, which was so stinkin’ cute…all the colors and singing! SO GOOD! Caiden got to have a frozen drink, popcorn, and ice cream…while I enjoyed my refreshing water! This cleanse is kicking my ass, Ok, not really I need to give myself more credit. I was, however, drooling over Caiden’s popcorn and the smell of the nachos with Jalapenos. Seriously, I think my senses have been heightened because I can smell delicious fatty food from 3 miles away right now!
Caiden and his baseball team are in 1st place in their division, and if there is one thing that is true about California, it is that they take their baseball VERY seriously. They won their last game 13-0 and all the boys were totally on fire. They have great attitudes and their spirits are high! I’m constantly impressed by these little boys and how encouraging they are to each other. I always look forward to Caiden’s baseball games and now I am an avid baseball fan myself! It’s pretty special how much passion Caiden has for the game! I know I sound corny and I’m totally not “that” mom, but Caiden has had the most amazing attitude and sportsmanship lately when it comes to baseball and it makes me so proud. I learn to be a better person when I see him on that ball field. Caiden was totally on fire and got the game ball for the 2nd time this season! Proud, corny mommy sitting here! Ok, I’ll shut up now…I swear I’m not that annoying mom - but just this once, I am! haha!
